I see you, leaning against your car, staring, at something

With the smoke of your cigarette adorning your air.

And you have this expression, of utter calm.

I love the fever, I love the rush of blood,

I love the heartbeats to my ears.

But then, I love the serene, 

I love the slow.

I love the soothe with you.

And looking at you like this, time

Stops. I could never appreciate anything,

More than your presence. You then look at me

And I know you are thinking the same. You smile,

No matter how many minutes pass by, we feel peace.
